Double Roller Extrusion Granulator

It is a type of granulation equipment commonly used in the production of compound fertilizers. The double roller extrusion granulator works by squeezing materials between two counter-rotating rollers, which causes the materials to form into compact, uniform granules. The granulator is particularly useful for processing materials that are difficult to granulate using other methods, such as ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, and NPK fertilizers. The final product has high quality and is easy to transport and store.

The working principle:

This series of roller granulator adopts the physical extrusion principle to process powder materials into the required shape granules. The working principle as follows: the belt and belt pulley are driven by the motor and transferred to the driving shaft through the reducer. The driving shaft is synchronized with the passive shaft and works in the opposite direction. The materials from the hopper into, after extruded by a pair of rollers to form the similar ball shape, then fall into the crushing chamber, at the same time a pair of chains driven by the driving shaft spins the two-shaft mace, separating the extruded but adhering granules, and finally the finished granules and powder are sifted through the bottom sieve hole. After the subsequent screening machine to achieve the separation of granules and return feed powder, using belt conveyor to make return materials mixed with new material for the second-time granulation. The mass production achieved by the continuous rotating of the motor and entering of the materials.
