Converting livestock manure into organic fertilizer

Organic fertilizer is a fertilizer made from livestock and poultry manure through high-temperature fermentation, which is very effective for soil improvement and promotion of fertilizer absorption.

To produce organic fertilizer, it is best to first understand the characteristics of the soil in the area where it is sold, and then according to the soil conditions in the area and the nutritional needs of the applicable crops, scientifically mix the raw materials such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, trace elements, fungi, and organic matter to produce to meet the user Nutrient requirements of fertilizers.

As the population continues to rise, the demand for meat is also increasing, and there are more and more large and small farms. While meeting people’s meat demand, a large amount of livestock and poultry manure is also produced. , The reasonable treatment of manure can not only effectively solve the problem of environmental pollution and generate considerable benefits, but also form a standardized agricultural ecosystem.

No matter what kind of animal manure, the most important step is to ferment the raw materials in order to convert it into organic fertilizer. The fermentation process can kill all kinds of harmful bacteria, weed seeds, insect eggs, etc. in the raw materials, and is a necessary means to promote the reproduction of beneficial microorganisms, deodorize, and harmless treatment. The livestock and poultry manure after fully fermented and decomposed can reach the standardized processing of organic fertilizer.

Control the speed and key quality of compost maturity:

1. Regulation of carbon to nitrogen ratio (C/N)

Generally, the suitable C/N for microorganisms to decompose organic matter is about 25:1.

2. Moisture control

In actual production, the compost water filter is generally controlled at 50% ~ 65%.

3. Compost ventilation control

Ventilation and oxygen supply are an important factor for the success of composting. It is generally believed that keeping the oxygen in the pile at 8% ~ 18% is more appropriate.

4. Temperature Control

Temperature is an important factor affecting the smooth progress of composting microbial activities. The high-temperature composting fermentation temperature of 50-65 degrees C is currently the most commonly used fermentation method.

5. Acidity (PH) control

PH is an important factor affecting the growth of microorganisms. The pH of the compost mixture should be 6-9.

6. Odor control

At present, most of them are using microorganisms to deodorize to reduce the generation of gaseous volatile odors after the decomposition of ammonia.

Organic fertilizer production process:

Fermentation→crushing→stirring and mixing→granulation→drying→cooling→screening→packing and warehousing.

1. Fermentation

Sufficient fermentation is the basis for the production of high-quality organic fertilizer. The pile turning machine realizes thorough fermentation and composting, and can realize high pile turning and fermentation, which improves the speed of aerobic fermentation.

2. Smash

The grinder is widely used in the organic fertilizer production process, and has a good crushing effect on wet raw materials such as chicken manure and sludge.

3. Stir

After the raw material is crushed, it is mixed with other auxiliary materials evenly and then granulated.

4. Granulation

The granulation process is the core part of the organic fertilizer production line. The organic fertilizer granulator achieves high-quality uniform granulation through continuous mixing, collision, inlay, spheroidization, granulation, and densification.

5. Drying and cooling

The drum dryer makes the material fully contact with the hot air and reduces the moisture content of the particles.

While reducing the temperature of the pellets, the drum cooler reduces the water content of the pellets again, and approximately 3% of the water can be removed through the cooling process.

6. Screening

After cooling, all powders and unqualified particles can be screened out by a drum sieving machine.

7. Packaging

This is the last production process. The automatic quantitative packaging machine can automatically weigh, transport and seal the bag.

Introduction to the main equipment of the organic fertilizer production line:

1. Fermentation equipment: trough type turning machine, crawler type turning machine, chain plate turning and throwing machine

2. Crusher equipment: semi-wet material crusher, vertical crusher

3. Mixer equipment: horizontal mixer, pan mixer
