I、 Fermentation & Compost Turning Section
This is the foundation and harmless core link of the entire organic fertilizer production.
- Material blending: Conduct initial adjustment of moisture and carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of the collected organic raw materials such as livestock manure.
- High-temperature composting fermentation: Utilize specialized compost turners or windrow turners to periodically turn the materials, guiding air into the interior of the material stack. During the fermentation process, high temperature is generated inside the stack to completely kill pathogens, parasite eggs, and weed seeds in the materials, completing the deodorization and degradation of the materials.
II、 Semi-Wet Material Crushing Section
The organic materials after the completion of fermentation often have clodding of different sizes, which cannot be directly granulated and require refinement processing.
- High-efficiency crushing: Materials are fed into the semi-wet material crusher via a conveyor. The equipment can completely crush cloddy organic materials to a fineness suitable for granulation, and is not prone to clogging.
III、 Dynamic Batching & Mixing Section
In order to ensure balanced nutrition of the organic fertilizer and meet the demands of specific crops for nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and trace elements, precise proportion blending must be conducted.
- Dynamic batching and mixing: The crushed organic base materials and additionally added nutrient elements enter the batching equipment for precise metering according to the preset formula, and immediately enter the paddle mixer or mixer for intensive agitation, ensuring that each component achieves a highly uniform blend to provide base materials of consistent quality for subsequent granulation.
IV、 Advanced Granulation Section
Granulation is the core section for forming organic fertilizer, enhancing product appearance, and commercial value.
- Rotary drum/stirring tooth granulation: Uniformly mixed materials are conveyed to the organic fertilizer granulator (such as the new type stirring tooth granulator or rotary drum granulator). Materials rapidly aggregate into spheres under the combined action of high-speed rotating mechanical stirring teeth or the rolling of the drum itself, yielding fertilizer granules with a high granulation rate and rounded shape.
The freshly granulated fertilizer granules contain high moisture internally and have low strength, which must undergo dehydration and cooling hardening treatment.
- Rotary Dryer: Feeding is conveyed via a conveyor to the upper inlet at the front end of the rotary dryer into the rotary dryer. As the cylinder rotates, materials undergo sufficient heat exchange with hot air. After drying, materials are discharged from the lower outlet at the tail end onto the conveyor belt, at which time the moisture of granules is significantly reduced.
- Rotary Cooler: The high-temperature granules after drying immediately enter the upper inlet at the front end of the rotary cooler into the rotary cooler. The rotary cooler introduces ambient cold air for cooling, and after cooling, materials are discharged from the lower outlet at the tail end onto the conveyor belt. Through rapid cooling, the hardness of granules is significantly enhanced, and caking and moisture absorption during storage are effectively prevented.
VI、 Fine Screening Section
In order to guarantee uniform specifications of the finished products leaving the factory, the cooled fertilizer granules must undergo strict particle size classification.
- Rotary Screener: Feeding is conveyed via a conveyor to the upper inlet into the screening machine.
Materials are precisely separated through combinations of screen meshes with different apertures:
Qualified granules: Flow directly to the finished product packaging section.
Over-size granules: Are discharged from the lower outlet and sent back to the crushing section for re-crushing.
Fine particles: Are also discharged and guided to the off-spec circulation path, sent back to the granulation section to participate in granulation again, achieving zero-waste closed-loop production across the entire line.
VII、 Automatic Packaging Section
The final output link of the fertilizer production line determines the efficiency of finished product logistics, storage, and transportation.
- Quantitative packaging: Screened qualified organic fertilizer finished products enter the packaging storage hopper, and subsequently enter the automatic quantitative packaging machine. The packaging machine performs precise weighing through a microcomputer control system, fertilizer materials precisely drop into packaging bags, subsequently sealing operations are performed, and finally bag-packed organic fertilizer finished products with strict standard specifications are output.
