Compound fertilizer production process

Compound fertilizer, also known as chemical fertilizer, refers to fertilizer containing any two or three nutrients of crop nutrient elements nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium synthesized by chemical reaction or mixing method; compound fertilizer can be powder or granular.
The compound fertilizer production line can be used for the granulation of various compound raw materials. The production cost is low and the production efficiency is high. Compound fertilizers with different concentrations and different formulas can be formulated according to actual needs to effectively supplement the nutrients needed by crops and solve the contradiction between crop demand and soil supply.
The raw materials for compound fertilizer production include urea, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, liquid ammonia, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, and some fillers such as clay.

The process flow of the compound fertilizer production line can usually be divided into: raw material batching, mixing, granulation, drying, cooling, particle classification, finished product coating, and finished product packaging.
1. Ingredients:
According to market demand and local soil measurement results, urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate (monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, heavy calcium, ordinary calcium), potassium chloride (potassium sulfate), etc. are distributed in proportion raw material. The additives, trace elements, etc. are proportioned to the batching machine through the belt scale. According to the formula ratio, all the raw materials are uniformly flowed from the belt to the mixer. This process is called premixing. And realize continuous batching.
2. Raw material mixing:
Horizontal mixer is an indispensable part of production, it helps the raw materials to be fully mixed again, and lays the foundation for high-quality granular fertilizer. Our factory produces single-shaft horizontal mixer and double-shaft horizontal mixer to choose from.
3. Granulation:
Granulation is the core part of the compound fertilizer production line. The choice of granulator is very important. Our factory has disc granulator, drum granulator, roll extrusion granulator or new type compound fertilizer granulator to choose from. In this compound fertilizer production line, we use a rotary drum granulator. After the materials are evenly mixed, they are conveyed by a belt conveyor to the drum granulator to complete the granulation.
4. Screening:
After cooling, powdery substances still remain in the finished product. All fine and large particles can be screened out with our drum screening machine. The sieved fine powder is transported by the belt conveyor to the mixer and then mixed with the raw materials for granulation; the large granules that do not meet the particle standard need to be transported to the chain crusher to be crushed and then granulated. The quasi-finished products will be transported to the compound fertilizer coating machine. This forms a complete production cycle.
5. Packing:
This process uses an automatic packaging machine. This machine is composed of automatic weighing packaging machine, conveying system, sealing machine and so on. The hopper can also be configured according to customer requirements. It can realize quantitative packaging of bulk materials such as organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer, and has been widely used in food processing plants and industrial production lines.
